Those a pre-flowers, aslong as you see only 2 at every node and the sprout white/amber hairs then your plants will be female. If they produce more balls like clusters of balls, then the plants will be male. But you may not find out this info until you flip the light cycle to 12/12.

Use a High-Pressure-Sodium bulb for flowering, MH does not provide the necessary spectrum for perfect and large buds as it is a veging light. Sure as you have shown you can use MH for flowering but the yield/size will be affected if using a MH on its own.
