Every plant grown is a new experiment, you have to learn from each one regardless of how many times you grow one. I started a notebook in 1978, and I have been keeping notes ever since. Learn from each grow.
When you reach that range you don't stop you slow down, if it gets too dry that's not any better, your Boveda humipack will help to keep it a 62 it prevents up and down, at 62, with a humipack in a good mason jar, I never had any mold problems
I have some cured in mason jars with Boveda humidity and dryness control packs, about 20 jars, always for personal use. I have some that are 3 weeks old up to 2 years cured. I pick a jar depending on what I feel like smoking at the time. They are all good regardless of how long cured.
She is definitely not ready, look at all the white pistils, they will turn amber and most will recede into the buds, then you can start checking the trichs.
Check the trichs on many branches, light can sometimes have an effect on colour, your pistils should be changing to amber and most should be receding into the buds. Check your buds to see if they feel full, check pistils for colour, check trichs from different branches. Hope all goes well.
The ammonia smell could come from the jar itself, either by what was in it before or what it was washed with. Did you by chance get the smell from the jar before filling them?
Just check your buds often, don't rush the process or you will ruin the buds. Touch and feel your buds when it's time to jar them for the cure add a Boveda pack to help dry or rehydrate your buds. When in jars pay close attention, burp jars etc
I would follow the trichs, but a few weeks ago, I had a nice white widow that showed 75% clear and 25% amber, it never showed cloudy trichs and only half of the pistils turned amber. Very strange indeed. She is curing at the moment but I will compare her to the others that did not do this.
