    Opinions on this method?

It sounds ok but I would ad a Boveda 62 humipack it will keep the buds fresh for a very, very long time. The humidity will stay at 62 it won't go up or down.

    Mold after curing?

Take it all out of the jars, take each bud and see if you can trim off the white and save as much as you can. I don't see how mold formed at that humidity unless they were damp when initially put in.

    curing problem help!!!

A Boveda pack in jars would probably have prevented it. I put mine in the jars when the buds first go in, and it stays there until the jar is empty. For now, spread them out, look inside some buds, let the air get to them real good. Hope all turns well

    BOVEDA PACK

I have been using Boveda for well over 10 years to keep my private smoke fresh. You put in your jar after you finish drying, it will maintain the humidity up or down to 62. It will not affect the taste it will keep it fresh for as long as needed. Good luck, use wisely

    Ak47 is she ready?

The trichs can change rather quickly on some plants, I would check every day or two, you will be able to see the changes.

How to Dry buds without curing????

You will be losing the best part by skipping the curing process, why would you want to not cure.

    Ak47 is she ready?

The day of flowering won't give you any indication as though she is ready or not. What will is your trichs. Looks nice.

Just your typical "Is she ready?" post, please ignore.

It is also determined by your own personal taste. Do you prefer plants that are harvested when trichs are all cloudy, or do you prefer a touch of Amber (maybe 15% or more). Find your sweet spot, your window of opportunity to harvest your plants. Good luck.

    What do you think? Ready?

The trichs can change a lot in 3 days, check them to see where they are at.

    Is she ready?

She could have gone a little longer, the trichs could have turned mostly cloudy instead of clear, just a few weeks would have made a big difference.

    Sativas, no amber

You're in the best position to determine if she is ready, aside from the trichs there are the pistils, how the plant looks, how she feels when you gently squeeze a bud.

    Sexy Scissor Work

When trimming I always leave the small sugar leaves on there, met hey are always covered in Thc and since the smoke is personal, it suits me fine, the rest goes into making rho.

    when to harvest

You probably don't have a magnifier to check the trichs, but if you do use it to check for your window, if you don't look at the white pistils, they will recede into the buds and most will turn amber, then harvest your plants.

    dried marijuana

Order some Boveda 62, put one in each jar it will keep your precious buds at 62. They can be ordered from May places.

    how close are the trich's

She is nice, but not ready, things can move along fairly quick, when the dark Amber ones show up you will be able to tell them apart.

    Perpetual Harvest

This works good, get a fair size storage tote, cut a hole in the top to accommodate a computer fan and a charcoal filter, cut some holes along the bottom for passive air intakes, instal some strings inside ( like a clothesline) the air will be pulled out of the box thru the charcoal filter and...

    Trichomes & Harvesting

Without a micro there is no way to know what stage she's at, but the pistils seem amber in colour and most seem receded into the buds so my guess would be to cut it.
