Did you say 9 600watters? I love to use tents, but your room sounds perfect for growing. I wouldnt use a tent there just because a good brand tent of that size would cost a lot and without a tent you will have more room to grow much taller plants if you want.

You had the wrong idea about PH. PH I think stands for potential Hydrogen. PH is the acidity of your soil.
