Get that new pH gear out and test the water that you have been using. My guess is that the pH of your water is high. I have seen tap water test as high as 9.0 ph and if un adjusted, you can get poor grow results as shown in your pic.

You were thinking correctly. The exhaust fan pulls stale, warm air out and sucks in fresh cooler air. It will lower the temps. Grows in a 4 X 4 tent can be kept sufficiently cool thru the exhaust process described above without a 'cooltube' even with a 400 Watt HPS light.

Politically I find that I identify closer with Libertatian than Repub or Dem... that said, I am by no means dogmatic. If as you suggest, allowing corporations to run roughshod over consumers is a plank of the Libertatian platform, that doesn't happen to be one that I support.
