when my plant gets bigger and the lights are farther away from the ground will it let the soil dry out properly or will it stay too damp and cause problems and how would i fix that if its going to be a problem? bongsmilie

ok so i got a 7" humidity dome with a t5 grow light (made for seedlings and cuttings) and im fearing that the light will be too far from the seedlings and the cuttings. would it be too far away?

sorry to get back late. ditched the halogens ditched the grow partner (and his cat that ate half the plant on the second day) that came up with the idea to take in my own grow closet got that set up and changed out the t5 light cuz its ment for seedlings and cuttings and put up two 100watt cfl...

thanks ya i actually found a bunch of those lights for 97 cents each at home depot dont live as long but who cares they are a dollar got two right now on one plant and it doing great might put a third to get the top while i drop the two on the sides to ge the bottom better. kinda of a late reply...

this thread is not too old so ill give it to ya. the calyx is a group of leaves of a flower. Like the leaves that cover the budding flower before it blooms.
