Stems too thin to support plant

The local dispensary carries Chem Dawg. I like it. And as far as I am aware, it is an indica dominant hybrid, not a sativa... But who knows.... It's hard to verify the authenticity of a strain in a store.

    nutrient question

I believe that since hydro nutes are complete nutrition, they are not good for soil.

    Progress So Far (Dated Pics)

Btw, I found that when photographing under HPS lighting, using the didymium glass I have for glass blowing filters out that nasty yellow color.

    Progress So Far (Dated Pics)

Very excited! Things are going well. 3 weeks into flower with more than I bargained for. These are going to yeild some major buds. However, it was my fault for poor space planning horizontally, as well as letting the one plant get to lanky and stretched in veg, leading to vertical issues also...

Pruning the top 1 week into flower...

I have a plant that it reaching the glass on my light, which is as high as it can get. If I were to prune it, would it cause the plant to herm? Would I stunt the progression? What do you suggest for dealing with height after the plant is mature?

what is everything i am going to need for a 2x2x4ft grow tent?

Sorry, not trying to come across as an ass.... After reading it again, I see how the tone is harsh. I'm a teacher by day, so I feel the need to go into a lot of detail. I know, when typed it comes across with the wrong tone.

what is everything i am going to need for a 2x2x4ft grow tent?

One more thought... I also think you may get more bang for the buck if you went cfl. If vertical space is an issue, cfl would be much safer since the plants can get closer.

what is everything i am going to need for a 2x2x4ft grow tent?

Seriously man, it seems like you are asking people to do research for you, then consolidate it and deliver it to you. Just looking at the front page of any forum you can see tons of threads with descriptions of different set ups. Enough browsing and you may stumble on your exact situation, but...

    trimming?

Thanks for clearing that up. Maybe I'll top that way next time. The way I did it was removing the top node after it god about 4 nodes and started branching out.

    Virgin

The approach that seems to make most sense would be to get a strain, and germ it, when the plant is mature enough, put it in veg, when it is mature enough, put it in flower, when it is mature enough, harvest. What I mean is, the amount of time will have to be measured by you. There are too many...

    trimming?

I may be a noob, but that sounds rather rash and aggressive. Wouldn't where you top it depend on how many nodes are already there, and the maturity of the plant. If he hacked his plant off that close to the bottom and it was fairly developed, wouldn't that be a setback? Please, correct me if my...

    "Designer" Colors?

That sure is a pretty bud. I suppose it makes sense that the plant's root system would not bother "feeding" the dye to the flowers. Are there any methods to manipulating the color of the developing flowers, to your knowledge?

    "Designer" Colors?

Hear me out... I remember in school as a small kid, we used to take white flowers and place them in food-dyed water. The color would get wicked up to the pedals and change the color of the flower. I was wondering, if I added some food coloring to my water in the last week of flower (water-only...

Does this mean it's a female (pics)?

I am just about to start the plant it flower. All I can tell is that it appears to be a female sativa. It has female pre-flowers.

    CFLs vs MH for Vegetating

Well, CFLs should do you just fine, but MH will definitely speed the process up for you. I use MH/HPS. Each has their own ballast and hood and whatnot, but if you got a lumatek digital ballast and nice hood, you can save alot of dough by just switching bulbs when the time comes for flowering...

What should I expect to see??? (pics)

The one on the right came from bagseed and is of unknown strain. I was wondering if it was going to fill out more, though. 3' you say? So, based on what I have been told, it could be 6' or more after flower? Well fuck. My grow closet is just that, a closet. I have the lights hanging on the...

What should I expect to see??? (pics)

Sweet, I was worried about the lack of dense leaf coverage being a sign of immaturity. Thanks for the great info.
