Hey, I'm trying to call garden centers in an attempt to find a soil between a ph of 6-7 to start a grow. However all greenhouses are asking me what I will be growing and I can't say pot...Is there anything I can say Im growing that grows similar to cannabis?

Hey all, I am beginning a new grow (Blackberry strain) and looking for suggestions for a type of soil that is easy to find in Canada and also suitable for pot. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks for the links...I moved the light down to about 3 inches so hopefully that will make a difference. I think I'm also going to plant another seed and start again. Any suggestions on what type of soil I can use this time? Something easy to find?

Wouldn't it burn the plant at 2-3 inches?

For another 3-4 weeks? And after that will adding nutrients be ok even though I used Miracle Grow? I had them just sitting in a room under a light before the box was set up which is why their stretched so much. Since then I have moved them into a box with one standard CFL about 10 inches away...

well 4 weeks and 1 day from the day I planted the seeds. Right now I'm just using a regular CFL bulb you would find in your house. I don't want to using a higher wattage bulb cause I don't want to end up burning them.
