From what i've read and seen you need to flush it with just plain water. flush 3x your pot size(ex. 1 gallon pot = 3 gallons of plain water) hope this helps, or as meat hook said but dosent too manyy nutes cause the soil to build up salts? i could be wrong

yes just go get a cheap $1 extension cord and cut off the female end and strip a lil bit of the insulation off the end and then just wire it up..very easy..i just did it and made the lights that were featured in the book "Buds for Less:Grow 8 ounces for less than 100 bucks" great book you should...
