This is me giving rockwool cubes one last chance for starting seeds. I have 1.5 inch starter cubes that I will only use boiled ph-ed filtered water. I also have a 26w CFL grow light. I know it's not the best, but I only have 2 plants, I'll look into getting a 2nd one. I'm going to use a 3x3x4...

I think I'm going to buy a 3 inch grow cube with a hole in the top, when the taproot sticks out the bottom I'm going to put it in the 3 inch cube, until I get 2-3 nodes then I'll transplant into my grow tent with DWC. So far this is my plan. Please correct me if you have experience starting seeds!

you can get a cigar humidor hygrometer for 20$, get a digital one you can calibrate it with a salt solution, very easy, google it

I've been doing that and the plants have not been performing well, It's hard to get the humidity up in my tent, plus 250w MH is a lot for 4 day old seedlings. I was advised to keep my seedlings out of the tent until they have at least 2-3 nodes on them (under CFL)
