Best way to clean/dry/store compost tea brewer?

Agreed. Why all the extra work? Organics is a KISS system. Don't over think it.

Plants in different stages keep developing fully red stems, leaves turn yellow and droop. Water experts get in here!

You are way overthinking it. Just make a great soil with plenty of life then water. Don't pH, don't add calmag, don't filter with RO system. If anything, buy more worms and mix the soil yourself following coots mix or similar. You need to understand why your adding amendments. Then your off...

    Soil Assistance

Depends on your final pot size. If you're ending in something over 20 gallons the soil could supply everything, depending on how good the soil is. Since your organic you can add mix in more amendments as long as they aren't hot. Seems like everything may already be composted(cooked) so you...

    Dream Garden Come True

Unfortunately not! I wish, Canada is the shit! I would check out some builds in the LED section. It is very easy to do, especially with the strips. I'm planning to make more for a small breeding room in the not so near future. I'll be sure to post the process here when I finally get around to...

Hey thanks man! I might need to get another and try that! Did you use old Nintendo controllers? I'll put a parts list up sometime so others can make it if they want.

    Newb Question

It's up to you. You can up pot and you can plant directly into the final pot. I personally go direct into my 150gal soil bed. I would directly plant seeds but my worms move too much and kill the seed. So I sprout in a soil block and put that in the soil as soon as it breaks through. Are you...

Watch me kill plants in Organic Soil ‍

I wouldn't worry about it. We drink the water all the time. I know bees have been fed chloramine and suffered no ill effects. Your microbes will bouce back quickly too.

Watering with fabric pots and a "water only" medium

I just want to clarify. Put the hydrostone in the tray. put the plants on top.

    100 gallon smart pots indoors

I personally think large soil beds are underrated. KIS organics had a podcast a while back and if I remember correctly, he had a commercial grower in Canada that did SOG in large soil beds. Also, I may be missing something, but what is this about filling out the roots before flower? If you...

What do you put between a large 100+ gallon geo pot and the floor?

Failure is the most fun way to learn. Hell it look me 2 years to figure out organic was the way. I went through every route possible. Was never happy until I hit organics. Yeah and you can't crush it in your fingers. I'd love to see your 150 gallon when it's all setup. Are you going to cover...

Watch me kill plants in Organic Soil ‍

I agree with above. Pots are way too small. You can plant directly into your final pot as soon as they sprout. If you have worms in the pot it will not rot. Also, try regular water over RO. I don't have a good reason to switch, other than the fact that its not needed.

Alright here are some update pictures! Tomato plant. Damn he looks terrible. I feel like it is suffering, I might remove and replant from seed. Here's the Cheeseberry haze. Little more growth since last update. Definitely growing, just not explosive yet. I think this is the first set of...

What do you put between a large 100+ gallon geo pot and the floor?

Dude your on the right track, you started organic! I'm pretty sure they put pumice in their soil because that is what is prevalent in their area. It would definitely be worth asking them what their percentage of aeration is. I go off Coots mix that you can find in the first page of the ROLS...

Thought I would touch on my light controller today. Here is a pic: So this a raspberry pi 3b+ running Mycodo. It is a environmental controller application you can download for free online and install on the rpi. I have 4 outlets that can be controlled separately from the rpi. I had to 3D...

What do you put between a large 100+ gallon geo pot and the floor?

Get some pond liner, rubber stuff not PVC. Fill with a small layer of pea gravel, maybe 2 inches. Then set that bad boy on top! Don't forget to automate watering with blumats. I had this setup before and I have this setup right now and it works like a dream. I have it going for my houseplants...

Watering with fabric pots and a "water only" medium

If you want to get even crazier. Pour a layer of pea gravel(hydrostone even better) first to mimic bedrock. Add a handful of worms as well, they love wet bedrock. This will expand the rooting area when the plants inevitably need it. You can even water kelp teas or liquid organic nutrients if the...

Watering with fabric pots and a "water only" medium

I don't know if anyone mentioned yet. But with fabric pots that small I would take advantage of bottom wantering. It is by far the best way to water. Just get a Rubbermaid container. Fill with maybe 5 gals of water and drop the pot in. Also, you don't need to have the pots on a raised tray. You...
