    Help with PC FAN !QUICK!

A pc fan needs only two wires to make it spin. But these don't move much air and add in resistance and they're almost useless for all but the tiniest grows. What type of power supply are you using?

What strain is the best? *must read*

"Must read" implies there is something of interest contained inside. This is just a question, one that get asked every two days here. Do a search and you will get the answer. Which is to say, you will get no good answer as it is a subjective question. No consensus is ever reached.

when to replace a bulb. +rep for answer

Good light meters cost $50-$70. Great ones in the hundreds. Hid lights depreciate noticeably after 6 months particularly MH. I replace mine every two crops. At least I did years ago. This is my second crop after not growing for 10+ years. The cost of changing the bulbs was less than the...

    T5 lighting 4' 4 bulb 12 plants

8 x 54 = really happy plants 4 x 54 = happy plants They make plenty of heat, as watts are watts for the most part. They just feel cooler to the touch as their heat is spread over more surface area than a single HID. Ventilation will be needed and must be adequate. Somewhere between 200-400...

UV lamps produce ozone. A good reason to not run them a full twelve I'm thinking.

    10.0 Uvb Light

UV production isn't cheap. I'm definitely inline thinking they should be on a mover. I'm thinking putting them around the reflectors, four per hid, is a good start. I'm 50% through my current crop and will be doing a controlled test next run.

    Getting Caught

So where do you think the heat goes when using a cooltube? It does not magically neutralize it on the way down the duct. In fact, not PROPERLY using an air cooled reflector could result in a telltale heat signature. Not many houses have a constant 95•F stream flowing from their roof or soffits...

    Florida Growers Thread

I just bought a 50 pint dehumidifier from sears. It's not too loud and has auto restart after a power outage and hooks to a drain hose for $180. Pulled my humidity to 35% in twenty minutes from 85%. Took out 3 gallons overnight!
