Help with PC FAN !QUICK!

Okay so heres the deal i have a PC fan off of a cooler for a motherboard. the thing is the thing im trying to connect it to has.

a Red wire, a Blue wire, a black wire, and a yellow

and they fan has.

a Blue, a Green, a Yellow, and a Black

now i have connected all that go together so far.

the thing is it moves a bit then stops like it doesnt have enough power. and its a 12V plug

so how do i fix it or can i plug it into a direct source if thats the case then i have a wire but but there just copper wires no color. and its a 12 V as well

A pc fan needs only two wires to make it spin. But these don't move much air and add in resistance and they're almost useless for all but the tiniest grows. What type of power supply are you using?

well i actually just fixed it, see heres the whole deal. i had a little grow space in my clotheset and it was just 2 lights and 3 little sprouts and it was out were you could see it behind clothes and i have parents that put my cloths up for me. so basically i was like wow im gonna get caught. so i went out to the garage picked up a bout a 2 1/2 to 3 ft tall tuperware big tub and cut some holes wired some lights from lamps and but a hole on the side with a pc fan just go get some air in there to cool it down a bit because theres a tub filled with tin foil, and theres 3 plants burried and 1 plant already starting to srout. so i was like wow im gonna do this i came up with an idea and made my own little grow box anyways i wanted a bit of air so i took an old 12v power supply and wired it to the fan that i just got to work.
btw there lights are one of those coil ones everyone uses and a smaller 70w white one.

also i was curious when they first sprout will it almost look like a little seed thing is comming out of the groud? because thats what mine looks like

Are you 14? If you lilve in your parents house you should do nothing to disrespect them. If you are underage, you should stop all this nonsense.

first of all dude read the grow faq and if you are growing in your parents house be advised that if you get caught because you open you mouth to someone your parents could lose their house and it would be entirely your fault.

also 2 70watt CFLs wont do it for the whole life cycle of the plant man because chances are those are 70watt equivalent and not 70 actual watts

damn dude if you are 14 you need to get the fuck out of this forum if you weren't aware its 18+ and you certainly are not if your parents put your clothes up for you and you think a closet is a clothes-set(because you set your clothes in there does not make it a clothes set)

well im 16 actually, hmm good point ill prob stop growing them, well ill just do one. cause A only a few close friends know. and B the whole reason for me growing my own is simply because i got some laced shit and i dont want that to happen again

When you're 16 you don't have close enough friends to tell you grow. And don't finish the one. It isn't right to risk your parents trust and freedom for you to be a cool kid. This site is 18+ for a reason.
