Just remember there's a difference between organic and chemical fertilizers. When I was growing hydro using chemicals, keeping a correct ph and ec was a constant worry, but after switching to organic and soil, I haven't checked ph once. I now use Biosevia from GHE, never had nuteburn once, or...

IMO, there is no reason why this wouldn't work, sure, but won't this imply a lengthened flower period, since there are fewer "nights" in total? I.e., the opposite effect of the "12/7 - system", which sacrifices yield to achieve a shorter flower-period.

Hm, some tropical sativas needs 12-14 weeks of veg until they start flowering, with a relative short flower period. Could be that you're growing a plant that's more suited for outdoor. Equatorial strains flower cycle doesn't follow the light cycle of "temperate" strains, but have an "inbuilt"...

How far are you into the cycle? Are you still in veg or bloom? What kind of lights, and distance? If you still are in veg (or beginning of bloom), top your plants, tie them down, bend them. What fertilizer are you using? What medium? Maybe you could cut back on your light-cycle, ex 10/14 instead...
