    It sucks being a newbie

There are two kinds of noobs. The ones that learn from their mistakes and the ones that quit. Ease up on the feeding next time. This shit really isn't that hard. Green thumb, my ass. I can't even keep my fucking lawn green.

So based on the flowering times, both strains could finish 2 weeks apart. Personally, I like doing one strain at a time but there's nothing wrong with doing both as long as you can identify when they should be harvested.

    Flushing W/Foxfarm

Yeah, I had a feeling 2 weeks was overkill. Thanks very much for the reply. +rep

    Flushing W/Foxfarm

I'm 2-3 weeks from harvest and I was curious how much flushing is necessary. This is for the Foxfarm hydro trio(not the solubles), by the way. Up until now I have only used inorganic ferts, so I would either flush for a full 2 weeks, or use Clearex during the final week. I won't be using Clearex...

    Doctor... Help...

I'm still leaning toward some kind of nute deficiency, but dialing in the correct pH should be done regardless.

    Doctor... Help...

You still need to check the PH. My RO puts out water with a pH of 7, which is unsuitable for growing.

    Kush strains!!! Need help!!!

Some strains have different phenotypes(observable genetic traits) and the only way to ensure that a grower ends up with the desired one is to clone. Let's say a certain strain has 3 distinct phenotypes, growing from seed is like the luck of the draw as far as whether you'll get the one you want...

Air intake hole(s) would be good, but you should be using that blower as exhaust to vent away the hot air.

    Kush strains!!! Need help!!!

Dr. Greenthumb has some, but there's no telling if they possess the genuine phenotype. The real OG Kush is clone only as far as I'm aware. Those seeds might be fantastic but I don't know of anyone that has done a side by side comparison

    how long should it take

You normally want the light within a few inches of your plants but only if the bulbs don't get too hot. You're dealing with seedlings, so they don't need that much light. If you notice stretching, you need more light and/or closer proximity to the lights. Once your seedlings are rooted you can...

    need help

I believe a car plug is 12v, so connecting it to a 12v cell charger should work. Again, not 100% sure, but I think it can be done.

Not sure, but why would you need to do this?

    how long should it take

CFL's usually have 2 numbers on the box. Equivalent watts(usually a 26W bulb is the equiv. of a 75W incandescent bulb) and the amount of actual electricity used. This is the number you need to focus on.

    tips curling & burn

Humidity is fine, but the temperature is out of control. Ideal is around 75-80. You need better ventilation to extract all that hot air.

    tips curling & burn

If temp and humidity are normal, I'm inclined to agree that there is a nutrient/feeding problem.
  18. Cr8z13

    how long should it take

Not without more light. You need at least 200W of CFL's right now and I don't mean equivalent watts.

    tips curling & burn

Tough to say what the problem is, but I'm leaning toward "heat stress". How are your temps and humidity? Are you measuring the temp near your plants' canopy? How many weeks into flowering are they?

No, thank God. I did once lose 3 babies in a similar fashion, though.
