From seed under 400w duel spectrum

Nah, transparent would be best. That way you won't have to remove them everytime to see if they sprouted. Probably won't hurt if you don't use them.

    Vaporizers...do they work?

I use a Vaporstar and it gets me plenty high but I have to admit that I still prefer smoking. I only vape when I don't feel like stepping outside to puff. As long as you don't burn your bud, the only smell vaporizing leaves is a mild popcorn-like odor. I can't imagine a non-smoker being able to...

From seed under 400w duel spectrum

As long as your cubes were somewhat moist, you should be fine. You don't need to run the light until one of the seeds sprouts from the surface. From then on use 18/6 light schedule until you're ready to induce flowering. Try to get the light within 18" as long as heat isn't a problem. Use a...

    Plants too tall

Carefully, yes. Use some twine or something, maybe drill a few holes in your pot to anchor the line(s).

Tie it down as best you can. I wouldn't recommend chopping it.

Sun speaker from sunlight shed questions

2k is a pretty sick amount of money for two of those things. I could see putting them someplace where they'll not get seen much, like an unused room, but there's no way you're going to fool anyone that contantly sees them. People don't really buy huge speakers anymore, thanks to the advent of...

    Help my plants look ashy!!

TDS and pH are two separate readings. There are meters that can do both, but they're not cheap. A cheapie TDS meter can be had on ebay for around $20. I can't stress enough how important it is to have one, otherwise you don't really know how strong your nutrient solution is. In the meantime, try...

    Help my plants look ashy!!

Get yourself a TDS meter. You need to know what the nutrient concentration is(PPM). For now, ease off the nutes and don't feed so much. Let the top of that rockwool dry out a bit between feedings. Do you just have them in buckets or is there a drip system?

    Help my plants look ashy!!

I think your problems have to do with feeding. What are you giving them and how often, and at what strength(PPM)?

    400-600 heat difference

I'd say the difference is significant, but not massive. I live in SoCal and I use a 600W light in a grow tent. Temperatures here fluctuate quite a bit day to to day so I really have to be on top of things. I'm reasonably certain that a 400W light would require less effort on my part. If temps...

    First time grower, need advice

Don't overwater it and hope for the best, not much else you can do. A bit of Superthrive wouldn't hurt.

    Is it easy to grow?

Sativas can also have longer flowering times too. I believe White Whidow takes 10 weeks to flower, perhaps longer. A lot of indicas only take 8 weeks.

From the Foxfarm FAQ: Some of the ferts may not be 100% organic but I'm very happy with Foxfarm and I plan to stick with their line for the forseeable future. I also BMO Super Plant Tonic.

What Nutes To Use For Veg?

There are tons of options, but I like Foxfarm's line. You really only need Grow Big for veg. Should run you around $15 or less.

    Help!!!!!!!

So we're talking about 8 hours? It'll be a shock, but I think they'll survive. It would be different if they were left unfed for that amount of time under a hot light, which I've done. Lost three plants last summer due to a kinked line. Yours should hopefully come out ok. You might want to ease...
