I did a few measurements, I can fit about 45-50" of plant from the top of a 5 gallon pot to 12" from the light. So I figure I will flower at about 20-25" and super crop if I have to to keep from the light, because this sativa is wanting to stretch even with LST'ing.

Only to sterilize everything. When the seeds were put in it, the towels had cooled down to room temp. Yeah ive never ahd problems, but ive never tried germing seeds fresh off the plant.

4 layers of damp paper towel (wetted with boiling water to kill any germs) with a plate and a bowl covering them (both sterilized) kept at about 75-80 degrees. No signs of mold or smell. Just no crack. I have always had 100% crack rate with over 50 seeds in the past.

Or you could put the floro's vertically around the perimeter of the plants for more undergrowth lighting for the fan leaves and all your hps's on top with a great cooling system. You'd get some good yields from that I would think.

And also, would some perlite dingleberries really be all that bad? I mean if you think briefly about it, wouldn't that just be more perlite in the soil?
