i use a sump pump to mix my nutes and transfer them so i just use the pump to warm the water up. for 25 gal it usually takes about an hour or a little less.

What nutes are you using? The nutes I use, CES, have a micronutrient containg K2O called Uncle Johns; it always puts a slime on everything, but it never grows or progresses and is easily rinsed off during re swaps.

Adjust a wings are pretty bad ass, i use the smaller, 600 watt size. they give you excellent coverage and also disperse the heat well. I agree with Whodatnation, I would definitely not go with cool tubes. What do you mean by "8 inch hood"?

I've never used one, but i may or may not get them in the future. I am really not all that impressed with the hoods, they seem kind of cheap for how expensive they are. they can really easily get fucked up when you are putting them together and then they will never have the proper shape.

I use hydroton and will soon be switching to coco croutons. less salt build up plus you get the microbial activity, i just can't seem to find anyone that sells it around here. hydroton is a pain in the dick to clean, it gets old.

Go with ABS then. its more expensive but it is tougher, will last longer, is black (big bonus), and apparently it doesn't poison you.

I disagree with everyone and so does green house seeds if you watch their videos. Flush once a week with ph'd water to remove salt build ups, this is especially important in hydroton as much of the medium dries out after every feed, building up salts.

i'd get a 42 gallon rez or better. the tray alone will hold 16 gal or better depending on how tall your sides are. i've never heard of anyonne using soil in a flood and drain system. it would be kind of pointless because you only water every three days or so anyway, plus with soil you do not...

80-85 is definately too high. silca and co2 will help your plants take the higher temps but you should really get them down.
