Sorry bro, but that's out of my realm of knowledge. I run a magnetic just cuz it was what came with my light. I think the digis are more efficient, but like i said idk for sure since i've never used one. Someone here should know for sure, and they're usually willing to clear things up.

That's why i was wonderin about ur runoff too. I gotta use the drops at least till after xmas. Doesn't the color of the runoff affect the color of the test?

Not too sure about the other quirks that a digi offers, but I do know that they run a lot cooler than a magnetic ballast. I can vouch for the imense heat produced by magnetic ballast, but it's not unmanageable.

If ur in soil, 7's about as high as u wanna go. I'm curious about ur runoff readings and ur tester, is it the kit with the drops?

I've noticed this too, IN VEG, all my plants do it. I haven't noticed any ill affects to the plants though. It does seem as though the leaves puff up as soon as my plants take off.

Nice Minger :weed: I grown a few northerns myself but due to space conditions I can't let em get even close to that big. I was wonderin about that light though. Looked like before u tied her down she was growing around the actual bulb, lol. Looks like u got some nice nugs on there, happy smokin.

Now where'd u get a crazy idea like that? lol... IMO, miracle gro isn't as bad as some of the people who use it are that don't yet understand the idea of 'time released nutes.' On the other hand though, I've also heard it sometimes has black fly larva in it. Anyone else hear of it havin fly...
