I agree with chunky. Idk who was sayin put a 1000watter in there, but deefinately DON'T DO THAT. Save the 1000watter for down the road when, as chunky said, u may or may not outgrow ur current setup urself.

There should really be no reason to foliar feed, especially everyday. If u must, do it just before the lights go off to avoid the magnifying glass effect of the light burrning them. Only time I foliar feed is when I'm seein a defficiency that needs help quick.

I can once again, vouch for the heat produced by 400w hps lighting. I'm actually upgrading to an air-cooled(or coolable i shoud say) 400, digi/remote ballast. My current setup just isn't cuttin it for me. It's a basic 400, with the magnetic ballast built into the hood:sad: and has been a chore...

Oh no, DO NOT water every day. Seedlings need very little water. Just a couple splashes about once or twice a week is good till they develope more root structure.

Those are just clamp on fixtures without the bell reflector that they come with. Theyre like $6 at Home Depot. Put 'Y' splitters for the bulbs, and I clamp em right onto the rim of the pot and adjust them as neccessary. Honestly, I don't think humidity's too big of an issue. Mine sits at 16%...

Nope. 2 lights will get three going if u cram em together under them, but it won't be sufficient for long. I'd try to get at least one of those cfls per seedling, then keep adding them on as they get bigger.

U took the lid off ant the temps went up??? I could see it not going down, but not up. Wth?..... humidity should be aroud 50% for veg. 27watters will do fine if u have enough of them. I think those 68 watters u had in there were just plain to hot for ur setup. I got my setup in a little closet...
