if I were you I'd try to get that ballist outta the room.. the light is hott enough ;) I found that out with my 100 watt with the ballist in the same room...

LOL... it's the same plant.. I've got about 2 more weeks on it... my box is small space is limited as well... I've got a 30" x 30" x 4' box... with a 400 watt HPS.... I'm looking to start all my veggies and shit in it next year.... growing in it during the summer is just retard... it gets way...

I don't know about the cooling it depends on where you have the ballists located.... I've got a 100 watt HPS as well as a 400 watt HPS and my 100 watt's ballist gets pretty dam hot and to have 4 for 150 watt... you'd have to keep it out of your grow area.... I only really noticed a 2-3C degree...

I totally stand by this.... I had my first grow going on flour's and some cfl's..... *shakes head* I had it growing for like 6 months.... I got a 1/4 oz off of it.... My second grow *still growing* is half the size... has taken like 2 months.... and I have way way WAY more bud on this plant...

oh! lol another question... how big is your space??? .... if your using the 4 150's you need space for the 4 ballists... and keep them outta the room if you can, they warm up real good.

well it really depends... are you growing 1 plant... 1 plant it'd probably do pretty good with the 4 150's.... but if your doing more then that... you'll need more then 4 of them to get good coverage... and remember.... the smaller the wattage... the less distance the light travels right... so...

you cannot make a ballist.... they run around $35 at an electrical store... each bulb needs a specific ballist.... unless you get a NMH/HPS conversion unit.... but I got my ballist, 400watt hps and my fixture for $90.... mind you I have a guy working at the store... and get the employee...

you'll wanna get yourself a fan so the stems on those babies gets stronger... otherwise it'll be to weak to suport itself.... have you looked into cfl growing on the site??? I'm doing mine under a 400 watt HPS... I did the CFL and flouro grow on my first grow.... then turned to the HPS... seen...

for flowering a HPS or a NMH are the best to get...I've seen a few threads around here that you get the ballist a 250 hps for like $80... that's your best bet.... I went from doing full on flouros to a 400watt HPS... man... the bud doesn't even compare..... huge huge difference in bud...
