I just went to a new 1000w hps and I have no idea how many plants to put under it and still be effective. I was thinking 10-12 but im not sure if that will be to many and the outer plants wouldnt get enough light. I the light is stationary and i will not be putting it on a track system.

Its not of great importance. I would try to keep as much light out as possible still.

How many plants are you planing on growing? I would not use a drip system to water your soil, could very easily overwater.

I would keep it very high, like maybe 3 feet about it and slowly work it closer as the get older.

if you are not using a water pump to get water to the roots then you have to bring the water level up to the roots. If you are using rockwool then I would try to keep the water level just below that till you have a better root system then if needed you can drop it a little more.

When the they are still babies I would just drip on the cubes but I would only do it for 15min 4 times a day, may have to change to more of less depending on how much water you plant will take. When they are babies the cubes are going to hold a lot of water so watering 24/7 will not be needed...

I have never used that system but I have used a drip system. I would sprout them in the rockwool. If not then as soon as you see a root pop get it right in the cube. Then as soon as you see roots coming out of the cube then plant in the system. Are you using a drip ring?

it depends on what type of hydro you are going to be doing. DWC/ bubbleponics, Drip, and there are many more. Do you know how you want the setup?

I wouldnt recommend doing it. A lot of stress to the plant that may not come back from but if you are willing. You have to get all the soil off the roots, soaking and rinsing. If all that goes well then you are going to have to weave the roots through the hydron. Good luck to ya.

As far as topping of the res, it will change. When they are young they wont require to top off that often. As they get older they will require topping off more often. I have 4 plants that are 4 weeks into flowering and I add a gallon back in my res every day and the clones that are 3 week...

The pics are from 2 weeks ago my camera isnt working. People tend to like pictures. I still have about 2 weeks till I will start to flush. Thanks though.

I just found this thread, thanks fellow bubbleheads as always. Always like showing off the girls Flowing for 6 weeks Veg clones for 3 weeks

How many days before I harvest should I start to flush my girls. I am going to be using a Flora Kleen from GH. Its says three days but i have leaned not to trust the directions on the bottles.

I keep four under mine and they are doing great. You could go with more. But I would think that 6-8 would be max. It all depends on the height and how bushy they are.
