What is best thing to use instead of water in a bong?

I kind of like hot water. But room temperature water is my preference. Suspended ice is much better than ice water, imo. Ice water seems to make the hits extra harsh.

    Somehow I Screwed Up Cannabutter

I've never cooked mine longer than an hour. According to the The Art and Science of Cooking with Cannabis, there is a chart with 4 time periods, 4 temperatures, and grams of marijuana. It varies from cooking 20 grams for 30 minutes @150F, to 34 grams cooking @300F for 2 hours. It also...

    Plant Dying NEED HELP!!

I'm guessing you have a trace mineral deficiency, and more than one. Could definitely be pH related.

    Aquarium Grow

You can use a reservoir for fish, and then bottom-pump water/effluent out of it to feed a hydro system, and pump it back to the tank, in a cycle. Tilapia fish are choice. Feed your fish, and your plants will be alright. This type of grow setup is typically termed aquaponics or aquaculture.

    Cfl lumens?

Individual CFL wattage isn't as important as the total wattage and getting good coverage. They pretty much all emit the same lumens per watt. Unlike HID, and some other forms of bulbs; which increase lumen/watt with increased wattage. 13 watt bulbs have nearly 70 lm/W. 200 watt CFLs decline...

    Somehow I Screwed Up Cannabutter

Try putting it in the freezer. Was it real butter, or an oil-based spread? Oils solidify at colder temperatures than real butter.

    bone meal... will it work???

Bacteria in the soil need to break it down in order for it to become readily soluble. It's starts within a week or so with strong soil, and typically lasts several weeks or months, depending on the amount. It's slow-release. If your soil is sterile it may do little or nothing. Grinding it up(if...

    Mylar

Just Google "lighting sheet". It comes in many forms, from textured and white(enamels/powder coat, typically) to smooth, bright, and highly specular polished metal(almost always aluminum). It is sheet used specifically for light reflectors, and more specifically the walls, so that light is...

Hey fat people, doesnt it suck?

I don't get the munchies at all anymore. Of course, I love to eat when I'm high, but I'm not compelled. I've actually found that I dismiss and ignore the hunger I feel for far too long, really. I drink a lot of water/coffee/juice(OJ!), though. bongsmilie I usually gain weight if I stop...

    Mylar

I'd suggest lighting sheet. It's aluminum sheet metal with top-of-the-line reflective coatings(dielectric, usually, which last 20+ years). Usually around 95% effective with visible light.

Not me personally. But I've known several people who have received warnings. As for this site, afaik, it's hosted in L.A., California and is subject to state, federal, and international laws.

I don't like you or your opinions, 9inchbigbud. You basically sum it up with: Which basically says to me: No matter how much logic or reason that's presented to me, 9inchbugbud, I choose to be told. I don't actually think about stuff. That requires too much effort. Just tell me what to...

    Mylar

Take a lighter and hold it to reflective mylar for a few seconds. Looks, it ignites, and starts burning itself! No more lighter required. It supports flame! Say your adhesive tape fails... a corner gets close enough to a HID lamp.... Say good bye to your grow room, house, whatever...

Where's the reference or source for that information? I've read lots of books with inaccurate information.... We might as well take fdd2blk's findings as gospel: https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/8168-test.html 425/500 = 85%, compared to thick aluminized Mylar. So...

Any trails near you? Suggest a hike or go camping, get somewhere where it's just the two of you, and spark up. Puff, puff, pass! Who's going to turn that down? No obligations... free time and recreation... creates the perfect environment to relax and toke.

    Mylar

If your Aluminized Mylar is superior at reflecting visible light(400-700nm wavelengths), then it is also superior at reflecting infrared(or IR, which is 700-10,000 nm wavelengths, roughly). This depends on the thickness of the aluminum deposit. Mylar isn't really reflective without an...
