Generally, yes. The quickest turn around is around 4-5 months.

DVD megathread (feel free to add)

*cough* Not sure if warez includes copyright infringement... but I'd think so. Just a notice that you may be risking your account here. I personally have no problems with copying. Their(MPAA/RIAA/lawyers) argument is akin to 'you took my picture... and stole my soul!.. somehow?!'.

    CFL grow - 5 plants

Hardware stores usually sell them cheap. Usually 4 packs of 23 watt bulbs are sold for under $8. Where did you get that CFL rule? If you don't mind me asking....

mh light durring flowering and hps

Probably both. You'll be glad you did.

    how does it work

CFLs? Actual watts? It depends if it's self-ballasted or not. If not then you need a fluoro ballast that matches the wattage of the bulb(s). Some are designed to take multiple bulbs, if so you likely need to fill all the slots for it to function properly.

    what to do with stems???

Tea doesn't really work that well. You might get a small buzz. You'd have to chew up and/or eat the stems after steeping them for 30-60 minutes in near boiling water. THC doesn't like water, and most of it stays in the stems. No matter how long you boil it.

    how much

None. Those aren't marijuana plants. Biggest factor is how many plants and how big you grow them. Obviously you could grow more under a 600w. It's not going to make a significant plant-to-plant change.

    need help with lighting--flouros

Conventional tubes? Gro-Lux are decent bulbs, look for the VHO(very high output), more expensive, but it's worth it.

Hey fat people, doesnt it suck?

Eating doesn't ruin my buzz. Sometimes it seems to make me feel higher.

    Seems like plenty of light.

    Someone stole my fan leaves

It'll probably explode with new growth and come back twice as strong(as long as you take care of it and it doesn't die). Happy growing.

First CFL Budget Grow (Nute advice appreciated)

I've used Schultz 10-15-10, cheap and effective. I've used it regularly at 4-8x strength every other water depending on how well the plants took to it(4 tsp/gal is 4x). Slight nute burns on the weaklings, no big deal.

Hot Water in the Bong... The Revolution?

Hot water bong rips are the best when you're feeling sick. Cold water makes harsh nasty tasting hits in my experiences. I like suspended ice though, some bongs are specially made for this purpose, and they're awesome! Otherwise just room temperature water, usually.

    are clear cups OK?

Using opaque/reflective tape and/or paper to cover them would be a good idea. Direct light is not good for roots, it's as simple as that.

    Preparing for a freeze..

Cut the bottoms off 2 liter pop bottles. Or milk cartons, etc. You want a lot of air volume, as it's an excellent insulator.
