It depends on what precisely is in the food coloring you're using. There are some things inside that could fuck with your chemicals. If you were going to try it, only try it with hydro. If I were to experiment, I'd use an isolated DWC setup, that way I wouldn't fuck over my op.

Like Vape said. Flavored papers or drops. Never tried it, but I'm excited to. Don't mess with the growing part though, add flavor via papers or drops once it's ready to smoke.
