5 gallon DWC built in 15 minutes, for less than $15 dollars. W/Pics

It's not foil. I don't use the stuff. It's mylar based tape.

    soil and DWC

Yes, you can take a plant from soil and transplant it to a hydro system....as long as it's not too far along in the veg stage. The sooner the better/easier it will be to do. So, go for it.

4 plants flowering over 100 colas!!!

Well, I had a big plans for transplanting a clone and taking 3 new clones tonight, but wasn't able to. The roots on my clone are not as long as I like them to be when I transplant. Looks like I'll have to wait another day. 2 at the most. No biggie. Was able to get the nute change done, and...

    Bubbleponics Seedings EMERGENCY! PICS INC.

Here's a link to the one that I use. It's around 33 dollars, which is pretty good considering I paid $58 for mine at my hydro store. But that was a while back, so prices have went down. Anyways, it has worked really well for me. As long as you take good care of it I'm sure it will work well...

4 plants flowering over 100 colas!!!

Well, it looks like I'm gonna have to build one more of my 5 gallon reservoirs. I have another clone that needs to be transplanted, so I'm going to make one more of them. I don't really mind though... They're fun to build and easy, and they work really well until I get them in to a big res...

4 plants flowering over 100 colas!!!

Actually it's White Rhino. More powerful than white widow, I think...though some would disagree.. Either way, surf it up and read about it. It's definitely one of the most potent strains out there. It's an ass kicker. :-) heheh Close, Hardroc.. :-)

    Bubbleponics Seedings EMERGENCY! PICS INC.

when they are this young, i never suggest using more than 1/4 strength nutes. It seems as though it's like you said....The roots are not in the nutrient solution yet. You could consider foliar feeding with a very low strength of nute solution until the roots reach the water... Your pH sounds...

    DWC res too cold???

yeah, I certainly hope you were talking Celsius and not Fahrenheit. If you were talking Celsius, then like others have said, you're fine. I run at about the same temp, and my girls seem to do just fine...

4 plants flowering over 100 colas!!!

Yeah, 8 inch diameter. Pretty large pot I know, but I've had problems with my plants falling over in smaller pots in the past due to so much weight from the colas. as for placing my clones here's how I do it. First notice the pic I added. I let the clones roots get long enough that I can...

    2 PLANT HYDRO-system

i was thinking some more about your set up. I think that if you are going to use such a small reservoir, then you should consider trying a NFT (nutrient film technique) style grow... Might be better suited to your needs than DWC... just a thought...

4/5 weeks into flower n nothing to show!

I'm guessing not enough lights (specifically lumens) to trigger true flowering. and 11/13 won't help. go back to 12/12 and try to get more lighting in there. preferably HID light, like a HPS light. :-) 5 bucks says that'd fix the problem.

    brown spots hheellpp!!!!

I've had that problem before, when I first started growing. It was a phosphorous and potassium deficiency for me mixed with bad pH levels. Once I got my pH corrected and started using correct nutes, everything turned green and beautiful...

    Seed pods?!?!?!

yeah, your pics weren't close enough to see the pods... If you don't mind having all your buds having seeds in them, then by all means leave the plants. If that is not appealing to you then pull them out of there...

What to do with a hermi?

yeah, you can finish the plant, but it will be seeded. however, and I'm not sure about this, but if a plant goes hermi, and then seeds itself, won't the resulting seeds in turn all be female? or is this just a fallacy? I've never known the truth to that, and never bothered to look it up...

Pistils burned by lights....will they be ok?

yeah, nothing you can do. it will still fill in with bud mass underneath the top of the cola and all of that will be ok. even the tip won't be horrible. should turn out fine for ya.

    small??

Yeah, I agree. 2 or 3 months was too long to wait to figure out the problem. 2 or 3 days with no growth should have been enough to start wondering what the heck is going on...

Help plant yellowing bottum up (pics)

wow....fuck reading and learning eh? you're dooming yourself to ALWAYS be a mediocre grower at best then. Most of us here have spent hour up hour of reading, researching, and learning!!! Asking other's questions is fine, but with less attitude would be nice, bro... I think I know your...

    too much light (lime green)?

agreed, that would be too much. I use just a few drops in 12 gallons of water because the stuff is just so damn potent. You may want to consider a very quick water only flush and then get right back to you tried and true feeding schedule, less the overdose of superthrive...

    2 PLANT HYDRO-system

I think you may want to consider gowing a bit bigger dude. 2 litres isn't even a gallon... I'm not sure how you'll accomplish a DWC grow in such a shallow reservoir... did you take a look at my 5 gallon DWC reservoir I built? It's pretty small, and should work perfectly for you. It would...

    2 PLANT HYDRO-system

By the way, the numbers I threw out there are not what I use, just what I found when I first started researching how to grow. They were in my notes. I actually use General Hydroponics nutrients. I use the Flora Micro and the Flora Bloom in conjunction with the Luca Formula at a pH of 5.3 to...
