keep them at 18/6 until they are to the height you want them to get but remember depending on the strain when you flip to 12/12 they will grow 2-3 times that height

if you mix fox farm ocean forest and roots organic together you dont need to add hardly any perlite cause roots organic is FULL of it and then you almost dont need any nutes during veg

i usual transplant my plants as the light is coming on cause when i transplant i also water the plant and i like them to have a full lights period to drink the water when i put it in but i dont personally know if its a good idea or if it really matters its just what i do

shouldnt be any problems t5's dont get too hot and with those fans youll have nothing to worry about but just to be safe try not to have the t5 touching the walls or ceiling and as im sure you already just keep it on the 18/6 light cycle
