I change out my nutes about every 2 weeks. During the 2 weeks, I just add fresh water as the plants drink it. After 2 weeks, I drain out the reservoir, and mix up a fresh batch of nutes...easy.. :-)

Yes sir, 24/7 most definitely... :-) You want oxygen being delivered to the roots at all times. The more the better. This system delivers plenty to the roots. I see 2 to 4 inches of growth per night, and I'm sure that you will to.... Depending on your nute schedule and how well it works...

That would definitely work for getting the plant out of the container that it's in. But, I can't cut the hole of the container I want to transfer too, or else the mesh basket will just fall through... (and I don't think it will be possible to force the roots through the hole either, but...
