    Why Not Mirrors?

I'm still a rookie in the area of growing, but i think seeing the light is different than the plant absorbing the light spectrum. Not saying you are right or wrong..just saying from what I have learned, brighter doesn't always mean better...it is the type something in the light that the plants...

After much research I found out that Mylar is just a brand name for "aluminized polyester"...I was worried cause I noticed my coleman emergency blankets didn't say "mylar" and was pissed.. thank god it is the same thing! word

Cannabis Indoor Grow - Days 26-28 (pics)

Yea, I am really worried....the tiny baby leaves at the bottom (forget the name) have either completely died or are about to...I hear when that happens (whatever it is that is happening) it is working it's way up the stem...so, i really hope when I turn the lights on tomorrow the other leaves...

Cannabis Indoor Grow - Days 26-28 (pics)

Hey Everyone - Here are some pictures of my plants at approxamately days 26-28. Anybody help me figure out why everything looks healthy (for the most part) on my plants, BUT the new bottom leafs are basically yellow and dead as hell? There are so many reasons that I am scared to add nutes etc...

More Reflective? Tin Foil Or flat White Paint?

I got Coleman Emergency Blankets and from what I read these are more reflective than the white pain...it also does several things that help plant growth. Mylar is aluminized polyester...mylar is just their brand name...so, never feel like you have to get "Mylar"...just get "metalized/aluminzed...

Could we please stop living under the assumption that everyone here is male?

Why would this insult someone? I am on here as a "being" wanting to read and learn about the art of growing herb. I dunno, just wouldn't bother me either way. ...we are all different. I mean, if we met in person and you called me "miss" yea, it would insult me...but on here? -shrug-

    Coleman Emergency Blankets

What is everybody's take on "Coleman Emergency Blankets"? Now, keep in mind, I didn't just ask about mylar emergency blankets. It seems rather odd that when I view someone's grow I sometimes notice they use/are using "Coleman Emergency Blankets" and when I ask them how it is working I have...

    Moisture Control Soil?

I always appreciate people on this site, and just people in general who are willing to take that extra step to walk someone through something...thanks man. I can't stand the people that fire back at people for being "dumb" on here or "clueless"...again, thanks. As far as MG, yea it is...

Sun Visor For Car (I think thats what its called?)

My understanding of flat white paint is capable of being one of the best reflectors of light but it must be exactly perfect for the light to reflect good. If it is painted by someone who sucks at painting and is not perfectly painted on the wall, it won't reflect the way it is capable. So, I...

Sun Visor For Car (I think thats what its called?)

Yea, I had thought my walls were flat white...turns out they are "eggshell". But also, the room is a bathroom and even if it were flat white, the walls aren't close enough to the plants on all four sides...not enough to reflect the light good.
