pix are worth 1000 words, is it a straight yellowing or the leaves have crispy burnt tips that crumble? all your #'s look great, it could be strain specific issue like the plants you have prefer lesser nute strength, for this reason its better to run only one strain, but this could be a nitrogen...
18 days? go to home depot and pick up a float valve and rig up an auto fill for the res, the bare minimum to maintain in your res should be atleast 20 gal, only to atleast keep the pump in the res submerged during a flood cycle. with very young plants i would say you got 7 days before your PH...
i am thinking of making things more complicated and was wondering what anyone would think of if i added Original pure blend on top of my mix. its organic only made of 4 things, kelp guano EW castings and fishmeal, if theres someone out there who uses this stuff in conjunction with PBP please let...
i dont like his recipe only because i think its too strong, i believe its based on him running 18gallon totes for resivoirs and that comes out to 30ml/gal of bloom. i like the ppm chart you have i would stay closer to that and even up the early veg ppms
i guess everyone has different conditions, i trully believe without additives, eachs strain's distinct aromas were brought out even more than say when i ran GH flora series, i know i started a PBP thread but with the addition of fox farms cha ching at the end really takes it to another level
about the flavor, before i started flushing my way, i used to get complaints of a burnt taste, every strain...thats whan i used to run a plain water flush. how did you flush?
this is my recipe that i had posted on another thread
new rooted clones
10ml/gal PBP grow
5ml/gal Cal-Mag
10ML/gal Liquid Karma
8ML/gal Hygrozyme
First res is 900ppm but 500ppm of this is PBP grow, everything else is soft, LK wont harm your plants and that cal-mag doesnt add much ppm...
i want to add this, i used to go buy nutrients and always read the back of PBP and only see N-P-K-Ca-Mg and thats it! this is what kept me from using this stuff a year earlier, i have been running it for almost 18months now and couldnt be happier. the reason i picked it up was not that i was...
i would like to start a thread here for the many people running hydro setups who dont have a clear understanding of why this stuff is good, many people have read to use the stuff from Stink Bud not because they know how good it is, but they see his results and try to copy. cant blame anyone for...
organic or salt based if you want to have a trouble free grow you should flush once every 4 weeks, i find that using clearex or flora kleen to work good. i have used many different nutrients and always had to flush, its much easier to flush than to see your plants suffer from PH swings and ppm...
go get yourself a bottle of botanicare's Cal-mag, use at 50% at al times if you have clean or R/O water, its good because its a 2-0-0 so that added nitrogen is a big help in early flowering
no malasses in hydro, its great for soil, forget the pump it can mess up your roots and attract bugs. you should pick up floranectar, sweet or sugar daddy. sweets have nothing to do with making buds bigger or taste better, they are used to add carbohydrates to your plant. plants produce thier...
before you guys decide on ebb/grow bucket systems maybe you should check out this thread, lots of pointers here and reviews. i own 3 CAP systems and have nothing but praise for it

i think the goal yield wise should be 80-100gr each bucket, with some skill and added light you can get up to a 1/2 #, now i would oput most 6 pots under a 1000, personally i run 4 under each 600
from all the nutes i have tried i couldnt tell you if i saw increases, but i can tell you i didnt have white salty residue anymore, i had stable PH and PPM didnt lfuxuate, aside from that i never seen healthier, happier plants every! super problem free and i think the stuff makes everything...
any water that makes the float valve rise inside the controller will trigger the pump back to the res, but pouring water thru the buckets for a flush is not worth it, it takes a good 8-10 flood cycles to get a good flush in this system
