sounds like you should finish just in time. and a SMALL frost is accually good for the plant cause it stresses it into maybe making more trigs. this happened to my plants last year and it turned out good

i have some plants i started mid to late june. there 3 feet tall and topped now but they havent started flowering yet either i live in southern Minnesota and i only got 7 weeks till frost danger lol but the weird thing is the tops of the plants are growing alternatly which is what usuaslly...

the most possable darkness you can give is 10 on 14 off and that sometimes will piss the plants off a bit why are you in such a hurry? another thing you can do to make them flower quicker is to lower the temp of your grow room to mid 60s and 50s at night
