Depends on your container type, I use fabric and just roll it down to transplant, some people sew in velcro to make it even easier. I think the aeropots come apart easily. I don't need a week to dry out once they are ready for transplant they are usually dry enough after 3-4 days.
Also, I would not start the seeds under that big of a light. Even if you keep it far enough away that it is not baking your soil/seedling, it seems like a tremendous waste for power when all you really need are a couple CFL or fouro lights since you are not going for photosynthesis for awhile.
Also came from running soil and doing recirculating this round. When I do a res swap I run a bit of plain ph adjusted water through during the swap until my return is clear and close to the starting ppm of the water, then put in my new batch of water with nutrients.
I am very interested to see...
Need more info. If you are not getting negative pressure in your space you could be leaking. Also, the smell can lingerie depending on how long ago you put in your scrubber. If your pushing through, instead of pulling, you can get leaks.
You could also have leaks at any connections that need to...
I always get much better growth when I start small and up pot (in soil). I have even done side by side and the results are very obvious that the plants that go in smaller pots and get transplanted do much much better. Not only do I get a better root ball, it is also easier to feed since every...
I go down the street, there is a machine that I can fill up my 5gal carboys for $0.25/gal, so not even worth getting an RO system for me, since I only do a very small grow. You could buy a filter to bring down your PPM if you are worried, they can end up costing quite a bit more per gallon if...
PPM after 10 hours is 1020, but it looks like they drank 2+ gallons of water, so it seems like a good balance. I will keep around 1000 for the next couple weeks.
My PPM has been dropping about 100 every 24 hours, so I have been topping off with water pre-mixed with additional nutrients. Also been going through about 1 gallon of water per 24 hours. Not sure if I should up my PPM even more since they are eating so heavily. Color seems pretty good, last PPM...

I would recommend staying away from doing major changes mid batch unless it is an emergency and you really need to (because of current issues with what is growing).
Go through your current grow as it is, and make notes on what changes you want to make so you can implement the next time around...
I use a Variac with a dual stat temp/humidity switch spliced into the line. It works great and allows me to have the fan kick off if the temps and humidity go below the levels I set...
They look great Joven. I think you made a good choice on removing the screen.
You may want to look into some stakes to help give them support since they will be big. Or I really like these things, you can get them from some Home Depot stores, let you still move the plants around but help with...
