HBBum Going Hydro - F*cking Incredible OG

Notes: Added the active caron to my scrubber, moved it from hanging vertical in the corner to horizontal parallel to the cool tube. Also removed about 4ft from the exhaust ducting so I have a much straighter line to vent out. Temps are responding well, max now it 77 so I will be ready to swap in...

First ever grow, 400w veg 1000w flower 4 plant soil lst scrog

Its Yoda, wouldn't you be going it into a Master, instead of a monster :) You could grow it big and take a few clones, that way when ready to move into flowering you would have a bunch of little Jedi running in your veg tent :)

First ever grow, 400w veg 1000w flower 4 plant soil lst scrog

I find clones to generally take less training/topping to get very bushy. That said, if you want to do mainlining, it seems like it would be much easier from seed.

Apollo ballast users DO NOT USE USHIO BULBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ushio with a Solis Tek here, and I love it. I would definitely try to get my money back. Also, you may want to check the boxes and see if they have a batch number on them, if its a bad batch of lights, they may need to recall them.

    Fan Noise ?

build a dampner, or muffler. I used it when I vented into the garage which is right next to my office. Its a pretty easy DIY project, and it can also be used on the exhaust the same way you would connect a carbon scrubber, without the heaxy carbon to push through. It will reduce your airflow...

Help with container size? And everything else

With that many, you don't need to top much. I have no experience with light movers

Help with container size? And everything else

A rule of thumb on ventilation would be 2x your exhaust. Not 2x6" intakes, but a 12" intake or equivalent.

Help with container size? And everything else

For the most part, bigger pots will give you bigger yields per plant (all other things being equal). You got lots of headroom, but the light will only cover a portion of that footprint (maybe 3x4 or 3x5). You might be able to squeeze 5 gallon pots in there. Smaller pots will allow you to veg...

Help with container size? And everything else

Soil or hydro? Lots of little plants or a few big ones (If a legal MMJ grow, you may have a plant count limit) Running perpetual or full cycle? Clones or seeds? (this can come down to cost, clones can be much cheaper if making your own)

    Ebb and flow design question

I am putting together my design to switch from a top drip to a flood and drain scenario. My question is, I currently keep the res outside of my 2x4 tent and the water is pumped in to the tanks and drains out of the bottom, out of the tent and back into the res. I was planning on doing the same...

Lasko floor fan set up, look good?(:

Interesting, most of those fans are not designed for a lot of pull. When zipped up, are you getting negative pressure?

Will my tent get too hot?

30-40 C or F? If C you will need air conditioning, if F you will likely need something to raise temps

    Portable grow?

Plant them outside? All power is taken care of :). You would need quite a few solar panels and batteries if you want remote indoor. But sometimes you can find the panels cheap on craigslist.

HBBum Going Hydro - F*cking Incredible OG

Pics of the config updates. I ended up doing 2x4 for the scrog, because it seems adequate, but more importantly it was a royal pain in the ass. In the future I think I will replace the round telephone wire I used with something a bit more pliable. I also ended up doubling up the 18G bin since...

HBBum Going Hydro - F*cking Incredible OG

It is, hoping that will keep res temps down since I do not use a chiller. have also since switched watering times from 24x4 to 15/45 while lights on. No noticeable effect which is definitely acceptable. I had to throw some root block fabric in the bottom of the grow buckets since I got a couple...
