I have made it common practice to set my water out before adding it to reservoir. I have always been curious if that was really necessary or not. Are organics still effective using tap water that hasn't been dechlorinated? From my understanding, chlorine will evaporate while chloramine wont.

Interesting, Ive never tried organics without first dechlorinating the water. I dont really know if it is necessary but supposably it kills off beneficial bacterias/fungus etc. As you probably know you need these microbes to convert the organic food to chemicals the plant can use...not sure how...

howd you make the hash? i tried bubble bags with dry ice. best method yet. ive used blender, alcohol, butane, water extraction...done it all....dry ice is great and fast.
