Question for anyone growing for more than a year... Enthusiasm still there?

Yep, very similar to that! Same idea at least. And if I were watering that, i would literally just dump water into the big plastic container you have there and let the soil absorb. Definetely the lazy way to do things. I started doing it initially because I keep a layer of sand on top of...

Need some advice - almost done?? Frost approaching??

I'd give them as long as possible. I have held herb outside through a bit of frost before. As mentioned above, the trichs are close. If cloudy is right in the middle of clear and amber...... it looks like yours are just a notch or two on the side of clear, but very clsoe. Also I think your...

Question for anyone growing for more than a year... Enthusiasm still there?

I am interested in homebrew as I went into my local store a while back looking for supplies for my grow, and they had samples from the kits they were selling. The stuff was very affordable as well. But the the point is, the several I sampled were literally the BEST beer I had EVAR tasted in my...

Question for anyone growing for more than a year... Enthusiasm still there?

Good perspective here. I do something similar with my watering now. I use grow bags for my soil. I used to water a bit at a time, and it took quite a while. Now what I have done, is create a cardboard box, lined with plastic that my grow bag sits in. Now to water, I just dump about a half...

Question for anyone growing for more than a year... Enthusiasm still there?

If I were to take a break, I would feel sick. I feel obligated to keep something in my cab. I used to keep it packed, but lately I just keep at least one plant going at all times. I'm trying to get back into it, so with the one mature girl I have in there, I have to dixie cups going as I am...

Question for anyone growing for more than a year... Enthusiasm still there?

I'll probably continue to grow at least on some level for a while. As I still enjoy it somewhat, and even if I hated it, simply having the end product makes it worth it. But, like you mentioned, there are a TON of things I still don't know, and things I haven't tried, but I don't know if I...

Question for anyone growing for more than a year... Enthusiasm still there?

I'm wondering if any of you guys are starting to feel like growing as a hobby is starting to feel like more of a chore than anything else? If you exclude the end product, and not having to find herb anymore for personal consumption...... are you still having fun with it?

Can I cure partially trimmed bud?

Sure why not?!? Dry it, trim what you can, put it away in jars. Final trim as you pull out of jars if you wish right before smoking.

    Some starter questions

If this is your first grow, and if you see some more stuff on here, when your plants grow more, YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE THE URGE to whip out a pair of scissors and for some reason want to begin removing foilage. Don't ask me how I know this, or why it matters, just know that at some point you...

Cola development 2 weeks into flower!!

Be careful with that trimming too meng. A lot of peeps get crazy with the scissors, then wind up starving out their plants later on. Keep em' green!

Cola development 2 weeks into flower!!

Ya man, keep em as short as possible and watch out for stretching. They are starting to get kinda tall for that light source for what you'll get on your finished product.

what is a good strain for the a new grower?

As for the yield YOU will get with your grow, I wouldn't pay attention to the actual number, as you'll be unlikely to reproduce the same conditions they grew theirs in. A lot of variables come into play with the actual yield you get.

+1 for Northern Lights from Nirvana for an easy grow.

Pelt's First Grow Box and Indoor Grow Journal

Not really, but a seed I thought was cuput decided to rear its ugly head after planting another one. I'm debating trying some silly shit like seeing what will happen if I let them both grow. Maybe they'll crowd each other out and die?

Started Flowering Today. They are 28 Days from Seed! Getting Pumped!

I'm a big fan of those bags. They are cheap and reusable. What I like most about them is that you can shape them a bit and custom fit them to your space.
