If ur interested in auto's check out cream of the crops black gold, its a cross of like 5 different indicas and its main focus is oil and trichome production.

I would say atleast a foot and a half both ways, and if possible just cut the bottom of the pot and then bury straight into the dirt, the roots will grow down past the pot

Dig a nice deep hole and make sure its pretty wide for each plant, put rocks at the bottom, not big ones but like regular rocks idk lol it allows for good drainage and add a generous amount of perlite into your medium
