First grow

Hello everyone, been scavenging information from here for a long time till now. Hoping you guys could chime in on anything that I may have overlooked.

These babies are exactly 12 days from sprout and 14 from germ. They're sitting in 1gallon pots, 3x Cheese regular from Green House Seeds (two on the left and top right) and 1x BCN Diesel Feminized from Kannabia( bottom right) . The soil is some cheap Scotts top soil which I filtered for any sticks, clumps, etc.. I amended with some FFOF, Wormcastings, and extra perlite.

I had all four under 3x 25 watts T8 (6500k) and 1x 120w CFL (2700k) under 18/6. They're now under my MH 600Watt at only 50% according to the dimmable ballast. They're sitting about a 12-16" under the light which is in cool tube. I've been having issues with RH at below 30% so I threw a humidifier in there but it's only brought it up to about 50% RH.

My only concern is that I've noticed the Cheese stretched out a lot in comparison to the Diesel and they were all at the same distance from the lights. I'm assuming this could be genetic. The diesel is very short and thick in the stem. Although thin and long the cheese did not fall over they would just hang out almost completely tilted on its side so i just gave them a tad of support.

U sound like ur pretty much set for veg, just get a fan in there blowin on those gals nd u shuld be golden, the fan will help out alot strengthening up those stems.

They all look good. Seems like you have things heading down the right path.

You are correct, different strains grow at different rates.

Day 15 shots - Fed them some light nutes. Floraseries Drain to Waste Expert Schedule all 1/4 strength in 1gallon of ph'ed water 6.3. Want to see how they react, some may say it's too early. They looked exceptional this morning after last nights feeding couldn't get shots of them. I'll have pics of my setup soon as I'm not near finished. This shit is a lot of work to do alone.

Looking great! The babies look happy and healthy and that soil looks like a good and airy mix. I think you will be set for veg.

Day 21: I decided that I would use a couple different techniques to train the plants. Since its my first grow I can try different things with the plants, considering I do want to clone the best female cheese. I topped cheese 1, fimmed cheese 2, and i'm going to LST cheese 3 and the fem bcn diesel. Foliar fed them after cropping with a hint of superthrive and 6.3 ph'd water. Will keep you updated.

Ever hear of mainlining? I cant find a link atm but when i do ill post it. Ive never tried it but it looks awesome, id suggest taking a look into it.

Yeah, I read up on it yesterday on a thread here, they were calling it Fluxing, but boy oh boy was the plant huge. Well worth it but maybe a little too advanced for me right now. I'm mainly looking to bring down the heat. I will post a video soon up of my set up. I live in South US. It's pretty damn hot right now. Temps are getting as hot as 87-88f, I have an exhale co2 bag for whatever that is worth. Hopefully, that's helping them cope with the heat.

All right guys, I'm hoping any vets or knowledgeable individuals can chime in. What's going on with my Diesel!?

I've been having heat issues prior to today that I got more insight as to the whole passive intake/exhaust. My temps dropped to 79 so i'm doing better. I've fed them a couple of times at quarter nute strength. She's in a soil mix perlite, top soil, FoFF, and wormcastings. No timed nutes. Could it have been the heat? I raised my lights and they finally got some stretching going on.

It's normal that shade of white around the leaves? My girlfriend swears it's tiny peach fuzz on the plant. lmao It looks a little faded all around the edges. i don't know hahaha im stoned.

Lol yea man ur fine, if u look real close at almost any cannabis plant ull see little white fuzz on the leaves, forgot the name, stomata? Im not sure, but anyway its what the plants use to breath

Updates: Still vegging, moved up the lights. Have a new group of babies all AUTO's. Have a new tent coming in from Agromax Mother Cloner that I will use to move the two groups of babies still in Veg so I can switch the room over to 12/12 for the four older plants.

The autos are 5 x KC45 regular auto's. The other bean is a Northern Lights Auto. I may try and keep a male plant of the KC45 to make seeds from so I can make my own fem seeds in the future.

Flushed the 4 older plants as it'd become very apparent they had Nitrogen toxicity, the new growth is now coming in a nice luscious green,.

More pics: I've since trained two of the Kerala Kush from the batch of babies. The BCN feminized diesel is hairy as hell and she's still on 18/6. I'm really liking the genetics of this plant. Thinking of definitely buying more of these seeds, I say that because I have really pushed the fertilizer and mistreated this plant at first, she's a strong bitch. She bounces back quick. I have trained all four teen plants, all are on some form of LST, cheese 3# only lst, cheese 2 fimmed, cheese 1 topped once, and the Diesel only LST.

Update: Three different batches growing. Anyone considering buying "Kerala Kush" don't remember the seed bank, got it from Bonza seeds. These kush plants are fucking weaklings, I haven't added any nutes really, and they look like utter shit compared to the AK and Topdawg. The kush is in the Silo cups, you can tell which ones they are. They're fucking wimpy and so delicate.

Switched to flowering, Day 2: Will have more updates soon. Finally have my agromax mother kloner, that i'm using as a veg area. Will have pics up of that soon, buying all the essentials for the tent.

Yeah I agree, I LST'd all of them. I'll be taking pics of everything as I have been caught up putting everything up and waiting for everything to come in for my tent.
