Those are aphids, not spider mites. They will kill your plant pretty fast too, just suck all the life out of it. You can use azamax or an organic pesticide. That is what I used during flower and before harvest...it is safe enough to put on food plants, so now problem with yours. Good luck.
Hey guys,
I just started my first CFL grow about two weeks ago now. I have been using 200 true watts of daylight CFLs for veg, but wanted to know if I really have to switch over to soft white for flower. Is it okay to still use the daylight bulbs? Is it going to make a big difference if I do...
I am positive. It looks like it is going to be a female, but it is still too early to tell. You should start to see two little white hairs (pistils) grow out of the tear drop shaped preflower in the next couple of weeks if it is female. They will begin to round out more if they are male. Here...
I am curious to see this because I am growing for the first time with CFLs and people keep saying how my yield will be crap...I'm willing to believe it when I see it.
hey just letting you know i started up a journal to keep track of things for my self and for others, check it out whenever you feel like it or if you feel like it haha :)
i have a 40x one I got real cheap off of amazon and it works just great. higher magnification up to 100x is good too, just depends how much you want to spend, but anything over that is rather pointless, as you will be able to see just fine anywhere from 40-100x
After seeing that third picture you have a hermie, there are definitely balls on that plant as well as pistils. sorry :( I've heard that some people take the seeds from a hermie and can sometimes get fully female plants from them, but you also have a great chance of getting mostly hermies from...
ohh shitty, spidermites suck...I had to deal with them on my first grow and hoping not to this time. I was also just thinking of leaving the two tops and lsting. Or could I still do 4 tops and lst? would it matter?
