Air flow is pretty good I have doubled the air flow I had on my last grow and I have a fan blowing on the plants during the whole light cycle. Alright so....Don't mist the leaves?? I never did before and come to think of it the humidity prob was pretty low in here in the summer as I ran a a/c...
Okay I will pick up somthing to mist them with. Is there a time that is better than others to mist? (ie right before the lights go off?) Might be a little nute burn I use MG moisture control soil ( I know some don't like it but I had really good luck with it last time and never had to add nutes...
The last grow I did I used the same amount of lighting all the way through flower. Ended up with 5 female plants and 2.5 - 3oz of smoke..........soo I would tend to think that the lights are fine and not causing the yellowing of the leaves.
:peace:
So I live in New England and at night the temp in my house gets down around 55 to 60 degrees F. (yeah cause I'm a cheap *ss) I'm not sure if they yellow leaves and the "wilting" is caused by the temp. The temp during the day averages 70 to 76 F in the closet with the vent fans going. Any...
Got new water bottle today..........has a pretty cool thing to water a little more evenly. Seems as the water doesn't soak through as much anymore which was a problem that I was having.
few plants have gotten really large today nice and low no stretching as of yet but time will tell...
So, I think it has been about a week or so now. The new venting seems to be working well. I'm concerned though that the colder winter here is going to hinder the plants as I only keep the house about 55 to 60 at night, not sure if those few hours are going to be a problem...(answers anyone?) The...
This is my 2nd CFL grow. The first time worked out successfully but only after much head ache and much research. A little back round......The 1st time I started in a card board box with a single cfl and some guy told me hey man your a idiot. So I upped the par a bit with the lighting and ditched...
THanks man I will check out your grow, I'm just going to stick with what I know I guess. i had a really good time last time and learned sooo much. Not as easy as I had thought it would be. Thanks
:peace:
well guys I think i decided to stay with CFL's......not really that I wanted to but I was able to go to lowes and pick up some metal shelving and be able to attach the CFL's to them for easy raising and lowering. (also part of the big problem) Also picked up some larger vent's to increase...
I have also considered LED but again the cost for the footage it overs i believe is fairly large. what did you go with for led? I may just have to stick with the CFL and just figure a way to deal with it..........such a cord mess though.
how many panels of what size are u using for what size...
could also think about these too....

what about the 125W from hydrofarm? do you think that or maybe 2 would take place of the CFL's? Trying to minimize amount of lights needed for about 6 plants last grow used 18 cfl's with random bag seed yeild was almost 2oz with 4 plants
I'm looking at 2 dif light fixtures my grow space is 40L x 20W x 40H. I'm looking at these two fixtures. I just finished a pretty good cfl grow but was pain in the ass with all the wires every where. Please let me know what you think...
I actully took and hung a couple buds. They taste and smoke pretty good after hanging for a few days rolled a nice joint and got feelin pretty good. I had read that if you wait till 60% of the hairs were red that it was a good time to harvest so I had a couple buds that seemed to be ready and...
