well I'm not exactly sure what your asking but I think what your asking is after having your plant under constant light for a whole month can you change the light cycle with a timer? If that is your question then the answer is yes. Just set the plant on the light cycle that you would like it on...
Been a couple days since my last post. Not to much has happened. I have thinned out a few more, think I may have trashed 2 that just wern't producing. I now have all execpt 2 in 1 gal + pots and the other 2 are in smaller pots but their growth is def stunted and they will not grow larger til...
Exactly what I was getting to Bob. It takes a while to water the plants and I guess I shouldn't really complain though. One problem that I have is that I at times over water which means my plants get nute burn as I use MG soil (I don't want to hear it!! I like the soil it's maint free :hump: )...
okay makes more sense now. I grow in pots so I could do it like that.....I'm worried about the plants not getting enough water though so i guess I would have to continue to water from the top as well yes? or did you only water from the bottom?
:peace:
My plants are all in 1 gallon or larger containers. I just hate watering via the top with a cup you get rings around the plant and can't really water evenly. IMO so i have this bottle that you squeeze and the water comes out through a tube in the top. it is very effective and good for watering...
They say that when the hairs are 80% (I think) red then it is time to harvest not sure how long it will be for your plant I imagine it depends on growing conditions etc.

are you thinking that with a areo you are going to really have enough to cause a stench?? I mean I grow 8 or so in a closet at a time and have no issues with any smell and live in a multi family home
I wasn't sure if anyone was doing this. By filling by the bottom I mean filling the drip tray under the plant and allowing the plant to absorb the moisture itself as needed. Not sure if this would work........guess I could try it with one and see what happens just figured I'd check if anyone...
I added a few more lights today. I was still feeling a little under lit. Still feeling like I may want a few more fixtures and bulbs. Right now I'm up to 23 bulbs. I checked the wattage and I have 23w and 13w bulbs......and a couple 9w.......the ones I bought today were 2700k daylight bulbs. Not...
I thinned down the plants.....think there might be 13?? now.....I don't really feel like counting but I'm sure it's more than 10.:hump: I had a few more pics than what is posted but my card reader died while up loading them errr.....
A few of the plants were kinda small and clearly...
Thanks guy! with the lights there is a mixture of 23 and 18W I think they are 18.....Yeah I was saying that with the extra fixtures I want to add. 3 or so I that I would be close to 30 as I can put 3 on each fixture for 9 total bringing me to...........well 27 okay my math sux.....lol...
everything i have read says that having your roots exposed is bad. My understanding is that the light kills them. I could be wrong about what kills them but i know you dont want them exposed.
:peace:
naaa i got a fan on them through the whole light cycle. i'll have to check that stuff out to mist them with thanks for the heads up let me know if u try it how it works out :peace:
