The plant will pre-flower only when its fully mature, and just my 2 cents id stack some dvd cases or something under the plant to raise it up a bit, u want cfls as close as possible without radiating too much heat to your plant, i keep mine about 1"-2" away

Depends on how much height u have to grow. Itll double possibly triple in size when u switch, just keep that in mind and decide when u think its a good time

Let that bitch get dry as fuck, water around the outer perimeter of the pot (away from the stalk) makes the roots expand for water. The bigger the roots the bigger the fruits.

While that can be true its not always the case, im using all 2700k bulbs and my plant is a short, stocky bush. Just gotta keep em close.

Its a flushing technique some people use (mostly guerilla growers) who arent really able to flush their plants before harvest. By doing so the plant will not wilt and it will stay green and perky and continue to take up water, ive never done it so hopefully someone who has may b able to chime...
