Im doing the same exact grow on my next run basically, my tent is 30"x18"x36" and i plan on putting 6 photos 12/12 from seed in there under 6 23w and 3 42w cfls. Plan on throwing in 3 more 23watters when flowering. I might just go with 4 tho since space is tight

Even at 12/12 from seed the plant still vegetates for a couple weeks before it goes into the flowering cycle.

Thats why i said "almost" impossible, while they can be fended off, its a very difficult/frustrating process.

Just so you know its almost impossible to get rid of spider mites, u may kill all the mites on ur plant but u still have eggs in the soil, usually its a battle to the end just trying to make it to harvest without them completely ruining ur crop, whatever the case may be in ur situation i wish u...

Imo its better to leave the fanleaves on, if anything tuck them away. Theyre the powerhouses/ reserve tanks to ur plant and in the last 2 weeks where u would typically stop feeding the plant will take whatever it can get out of the fan leaves to continue production.
