Id recommend the auto skunk varieties from white label and sensi seeds, im thoroughly impressed with how fast my skunk auto is growing especially under cfls.
You can but ud be better off with only 1 bulb at 6500k and the rest at 2700k. When flowering with cfls, too many bulbs with the "blue spectrum" (6500k) will result in loose fluffy buds. I prefer a 3:1 ratio 2700k being 3 and 6500k being 1
Not necessarily a problem if you have the space but definitely something you should factor in before vegging for 4 months then flipping to flower. Plants double even triple in size when u flip the lights.
Typically cfls are used for small/stealth grows so space is somewhat limited (in most cases when using cfls) and they dont have as good light penetration as a mh or hps, so youll have to end up surrounding your giant plant with cfls all around it at different heights so you could get light to...
plants shouldnt give off a strong odor if everything is dialed in, look it up if u think im lying, a proper dry/cure is what will bring out that desired taste and aroma.
I would suggest letting one more set of true leaves grow in then pinch off the next new pair that try to grow in (topping) waiting a week or so then switch to flower if ur limited on height, vegging with cfls for a long period of time could lead to problems if u plan on flowering with them also.
A node is where the branches meet the main stem and yes, ur first sign of pistils will be by the little leaf looking things (stipules) off the main stem.
Happy plants shouldnt stink btw so if ur plants are really kicking off a strong odor then theyre tryna tell u something, whether its temp based or wat have u.
This is what my whole setup looks like and it works well for me, the other plant on the right is a biodiesel critical mass auto thats a buddy of mines, it wasnt getting the light it needed being it was planted early and too cold to keep outside so i threw her in my tent, shes stunted but...
