Hi all my name is jay
I recently made a tent its 4'x5'x6' . I made this kinda on a wim in the supply house out of 1" pvc and a couple fittings finished it off with a door and wrapped in panda film . The problem is i never thought how to properly ventilate, ontop of a couple other issues such like its a really big space for 5 plants and i am vegging about 3 weeks to date with cfls at 6500k spectrum some big (150) and about 8 small i think they are 42 watt maybe a lil smaller so recently i had some emergency blankets for camping i kind of closed the plants in a lil bit mpre for better light reflection . So i do not wanna continue the grow too much longer with cfls so i opted to buy a 600 watt mh /hps system to helps these girls get going on thier way. So in conclusion my questions are this
1 should i really consider making a smaller grow room or just wait till next time and no better ?
2 is a 600 watt mh or hps too much heat for a pvc pandafilm tent with no ventilation besides the fron door and a fan .
3 will i stress my plants out by introducing a 600 w mh light to them considering they have been vegging for 3 weeks under them doing pretty good in my newbie opinion
4 should i stay away from neuts for now till the next harvest ?i invested a good amout of time and money dont want it to be for nothing
5 and this was just outta left field i seen a gnat flying around in my basement should i be worried about them hurting my girls ??
