How much should I trim before flower?

I don't know if this has been said, but you are going to have an absolutely overgrown, crowded clusterfuck if you try to flower all ten of those plants in a 4x4 tent. Keep in mind that they will more or less double in height AND width within the first couple/few weeks of bloom. I would venture...

Carnage. The smells vary quite a bit from sister to sister. One has a faint, sweet bubblegum smell. One has a STRONG, tart lemon smell. Another has a super sweet, funky/skunky, over-ripe orange smell. The others fall somewhere in between.

Krill In place of fish hydrolysate?

I don't see any reason that wouldn't work. Krill is very nutritious.

    SpicySativa's Organic Garden

Hey everyone. I didn't forget about this thread, just been away for a bit. The Vortex are looking really nice. Very frosty. Not high yielding, but I knew that from the start. It looks like harvest will be next Monday. One of them spewed a few nanners around week 6, but I don't think any damage...

Or you could just float a Mosquito Dunk into your reservoir. That'll fix you up quick.

Vermicomposters Unite! Official Worm Farmers Thread

If it smells like a dumpster, DO NOT use it on your plants. Dumpster smell = anaerobic = bad. I'd give it a little mix to aerate it, leave the lid off, and not touch it for a couple weeks. I bet it'll shape right up once the oxygen is flowing and the worms start moving around.

Can tea result in too much potassium / nitrogen lockout?

What's your nitrogen source? Did you add something to your soil to supply N? I don't think you have lockout, I think you simply don't have enough nitrogen left in your soil to keep them happy. BIGGER pots will help, as will making sure your soil mix contains both quickly available nitrogen...

    Organic soil and fox farms.

Fox Farms soil IS organic. It's their bottled nutrients that aren't organic (at least most of them). You're fine.

vegging with sub's super soil help?..

Another thing to think about... Does your water supplier add chloramine instead of chlorine? Most municipalities do these days. Chloramine won't evaporate off like straight chlorine will. You either have to "remove" it chemically by reacting it with organic matter (worm castings or molasses will...

vegging with sub's super soil help?..

Personally, I never adjust pH. I don't use Subcool's soil anymore, but my own mixed-from-scratch soil mix. To better understand pH, you need to learn about buffering ability. My water comes out of the tap with a pH over 8, but it has VERY low buffering ability due to it's low dissolved solids...

    Coco Forrest premium soil blend?

Yes. 84 is too hot. You can grow healthy plants at that temp, but if you can get it down below 80, you'll be glad you did.

DIY Airlift/Vortex Compost Tea Brewer (5-gal)

I don't use air stones in the ends of my tubes. I have seen no need to add them; my DO levels stay PLENTY high already. As for 2 airlifts versus 4, I find 2 airlifts to be more than sufficient. Like I said, my DO levels are maintained at just about the saturation limit. You can't go any higher...

    Coco Forrest premium soil blend?

Never tried it, but seems like a decent mix of ingredients. Not much in the way of a phosphorus source though... I think you could build a better soil from scratch, but if you must buy premixed soil that one would probably work OK.

Some combos work better than others... I think it works better when you let the sativa dominate, with a little indica to mellow it out.

Mo - I haven't messed much with blended bubble hash, but I do sometimes like to pack a bowl of sativa flowers topped with indica hash, or vise versa. Fun times.

Hmm. That doesn't sound like the Querkle I've had. It was sweet, grapey, and smooth. I'm all about variety. There are only a few strains I've run more than once. XJ-13 is great, but being clone only it might b hard for some to find. And yes, I know that if you grow a sativa until it's got a...

No idea what that was, but it sounds nice! I love a good sativa, and it's hard to beat the various Jack varieties. But ya gotta have some indica head stash around to balance things out. That's why I'll be doing Querkle and Daybreaker next round. :)

A.N. Nirvana? OR Rayner Essentials Crude Black Strap Molasses...?

The stuff you're looking for is ascophyllum nodosum. If that's what they're feeding horses, then that's what you want. As for the alfalfa meal, check your local feed/pet/farm supply store for rabbit food. This is usually just alfalfa pellets. Check the ingredients of BOTH products to make...
