    SpicySativa's Organic Garden

I've got great air exchange, but I basically live in a fog bank. There is a LOT of powdery mildew on landscapes, gardens, etc, I'm my area. Even with ideal growing conditions and ample airflow it still shows up from time to time, especially when you bring it home from the dispensary... Managing...

Tiny bright white dots - Actinovate?

It looks to me like a few specks of the Actinovate didn't dissolve completely in the spray bottle and ended up stuck to your leaves. Whatever it is, I am confident that it's NOT powdery mildew.

Bugeye - I don't have much experience with the Actinovate as a foliar spray, so can't comment on the spots you're seeing. I do a root drench with it from time to time in the veggie garden, especially for a few disease-prone varieties of heirloom tomato. I'll take a look at your thread when I...

Do you use the horsetail tea as described in the Horsetail Tutorial? I've already got a bag of dried/powdered horsetail to work with.

    SpicySativa's Organic Garden

Thanks for the tip! I started out by dunking each clone in Green Cure to give the PM an early kick in the ass, but I will definitely be giving the horsetail a try next. My goal from here on out will be to continue a preventative spray routine with enough frequency that I don't see a single...

    SpicySativa's Organic Garden

Yeah, I thought about tossing them, but I pretty much assume that every clone from a dispensary has been exposed to PM. These one's just showed it quickly... I chose to run clones this round to give myself a little bit of a head start compared to popping seeds, so I don't want to set myself back...

    SpicySativa's Organic Garden

Alright!!! After a bit of a hiatus, the medicine cabinet is back up and running with a nice new paint job. I'm nursing six ratty little dispensary clones back to health. 2 Blackberry Kush (center), 2 Cherry Pie (left), and 2 Grape Ape (right). The 2 Cherry Pie showed powdery mildew literally...

    Springtails

I see them in my soil now and then. They've never caused a problem and usually move on/die off after a week or so.

Here are a couple random little Vortex nuggets from the head stash I set aside while the rest cures.

It's bubble hash, ice water hash, whatever you want to call it. I follow the same basic routine as everyone else. The key to making good, pure hash is to avoid stirring too rough or too long. You want to dislodge the trichomes without beating the plant material to a pulp. I make small batches...

    SpicySativa's Organic Garden

Good to be back for a minute. Between work, trimming, and life, I've been busy as fuck. Haven't had much time to fart around on the internet. Also haven't had time to paint the interior of the cab (fuck panda film...) for or start up my next round.... Hopefully soon.

Ha! It does kinda look like bacon bits. Tastes a whole lot better, though.

anyone heard of or tried this all in one booster?

Of course they say it rocks... How else are they going to slang their product? The funny part is, lots of people will see the hefty price tag and assume that it MUST be good stuff sense it's so pricy... Don't be that guy...

    Help on quantity!?!?!

It's NEVER a good idea to add synthetic chemicals to an organic grow. If you feel like your plants need more phosphorus, you can give them some guano (tea or top dress), or some fish hydrolysate.

    Help on quantity!?!?!

The native soil (along with the stuff you've already added) may provide everything you need. If not, you an always top dress with with dry amendments or brew up a tea. Kelp and alfalfa both make great teas for use during the veg period. Really, though, the compost is key. Use that shit liberally.

    Help on quantity!?!?!

There is no single right answer here, especially without knowing what your native soil is like. Some native soil is fine as-is (nice loose sandy loam with some decent concentrations of organic matter), and some soil requires quite a bit of effort to prepare (clay). If what you're trying to do...

How much should I trim before flower?

Have you sexed them yet? If they aren't feminized seeds you can count on tossing out at least a few males.

    Hemp Flour?

Only one way to find out!
