yes your probably better off just leaving the HPS for the entire flowering since like you said your using a glass hood.........If you can find a way to lower the temps withou the glass id switch it back to MH but like i said that only if yu can control the temps without the glass......

Sounds like your in a closet , id go flat white paint and id have them add the mold additive and the titanium addtive....Make sure its FLAT white.....paint is VERY easy to clean its cheap and it rolls on evenly and its just well, newbie friendly..... People will tell you to get those cheap...

Do you have a the bathroom exhaust fan running all the time?? Does your bathroom even have an exhaust fan??? The only way to cool that room without getting an AC is to aircool the lights and vent that air outside.....If your in a bathroom then you should have easy access to the exhaust...
