my 1st time grow room.. is it lookin good so far LOL?

im real new to this whole growing thing ... any ideas on what i need/ to do?
any advice is awesome.

so pretty much thats my grow room/area im workin with.. so its 10' box pretty much split into 2 rooms, each room being just about 5' width and about 4' depth and about an 8' heighth. i grabbed a bunch on space blankets and threw em up there lol i heard they worked for reflecting but shit i don know. i just want to know what system is best for what im fuckin with and what lights would be good for producing quite a bit of bud. i kinda wanna do hydro but don know what system to use. i am card holder patient and am able to grow up to 15 plants and i wanna know what im basically gonnna need to get this whole thing up and running whats the best stuff? any takers

put a 400 in your veg room then a 600 or a 1k in your flower. the 1k will be hella hot so your will need to throw like a 4inch inline. it will be over kill a little but they dont make them any smaller. dont go hydro your first gorw. gl have fun welcome to riu and welcome to the joys of growing your own smoke

Sounds like you're a bit behind the curve on growing knowledge. If you want to have a successful grow (or at least not a horrible first crop) there's quite a bit of research you need to look into

As for hydroponics, it's a common misconception that there's only one type. There's actually several ways you can go, DWC, Aeroponics, bubbleponics, NFT, constant drip, ect ect. You should go to the grow journal section and check out some other people's grows, or look in the Hydro section of the forums located here.

The reflective material you have up is decent but you should really try and get some mylar or panda film, they reflect 90%+ of light and they're a lot better than most reflective materials on the market, and relatively cheap.
You also need to narrow down your idea of what you're looking to buy. Grow rooms can get very costly if you're looking into top end gear, what's your price range?

Other things to keep in mind: Your electric bill is going to skyrocket when you set up this operation, you're going to be spending buttloads on nutrients and other equipment, so what ever your total budget is going to be, reduce it by about 30% to make sure you can afford the upkeep costs. For example if you want to spend no more than $1000, limit yourself to around $700 on just your initial shopping spree, and keep that other $300 for future expenses on your grow room. You have to keep in mind that the first few months you're going to be pissing money at your system with nothing in return, so you have to have enough cash to support your new hobby!

Edit: I know it seems like a lot, but really if you just sit down for a couple of hours and take good notes on what you're reading it'll pay off 100x in the future. When you're growing its always better to have a good idea of what you're doing before you start, if you jump into things without proper knowledge you're going to end up wasting a ton of your time (and money) for some shitty bud at best. well pretttyy much im building this shit for my mom she is actuallly the card holder im the provider.

that whole entire build was pretty much based off the green man growing dude on youtube. he kind of gave me an idea of what the fuck im doing here.

i know there is diff systems yu can use for hydro. i juss wanna know whats the easiest and best?. and if i got a 1000w hps for the flowering room and a 400watter for the veg room. i juss dont know if my garage will be able to hold all those volts without blowing the breaker.?

lol someone shuld give me a list of what i need hahah

"I Grow Chronic" is a good tutorial for the first time grower who has access to forums to ask questions but it isn't the be all/end all of knowledge.

Since you're working in almost the same exact space as the I grow chronic videos, you can literally copy his setup entirely and have pretty good success with your first grow.

Like everyone said dont do hydro if you dont even know the basics......Do a noob friendly "soilless mix" im sure you will have to google that too but its noob friendly and low maintance......Also take down that crappy blankets and just Use flat white paint with mold and titanuim additives, Paint is easy to roll out, easy to clean and easy to work with its very noob friendly espically when you have a wood structure like that.... Have you found a place to exhaust outside?? No ones commented on where you will be exhausting your hot old stinky air?? Thats the biggest noob mistake i read on here is not planning an exhaust to outside.....You must have an exhaust fan sucking old hot air out of your grow space away from the froom your grow space is in... Those are just 3 things to think about out of a list of like a 100 things.....You might be over your head alittle on this one.....You are trying to do a perpetual grow with veg room floor room and a hydro systems....lol but it sounds like you have zero growing experiance and sounds like you have zero time reading on how to grow so a perpetual grow with a hyrdo system is just well out of your leage so to speak.....Like trying to do a back flip when you havent even got the training wheels off yet.....

You cant possibly learn everything there is to learn by posting a thread in here and saying hey tell me what i need to do to grow ....lol that would take a 200 page essay if not more.... What books have you read? non?? I read 4 books cover to cover before even looking into what to purchase or how to set it up.....Id suggest doing some research so you dont have to redo your entire grow later down the road...

this guy has perfect situation. u dont need to know all that stuff to grow a first crop. u want bomb heres the resipe...

1. move your wall over 3 feet. u dont need 400 watt to veg 15 plants 8 bulb t-5 is perfect. less heat too.
2. go soilless in 3 gallon pots. sunshine mix #4 mixed with 2 bags of ff light seed warrior.
3. nutes, house and garden 8 week flower cycle. small bottles of nutes u wont use much. water every other day with 10 gallons.
4. gear, 1000 watt, air cool with 6 inch fan, small carbon filter, cheap ass a/c.
5. get a grow bible to know what temps u should be at, and ask questions hear and your done. monster crop.
