Reservoir Temps and Controlling them in my grow room!!! + REP!!

Hey all im about to start an EBB & drain system and i was going to put my reservoir under my grow tray but then i read that my reso water temps should be 65-70 but how is this possible when my ambient grow temps are 75-80?? If the grow room is 75-80 it only makes sense that the water in the reservoir would eventually heat up to ambient temps right??

I could cool my room down(5000 btu ac) but then i would be sacraficing my grow temps for my water temps and if i did nothing then i would be sacrafycing my water temps for my grow temps.....

How do i keep my reservoir temps down and still have my grow temps up??

Is the only way to use a chiller?? and if so the only chiller i looked into used 2.2 amps thats almost as much as my 5000 btu AC thats crazy this cant be the only way....

So now im thinking i will put my Reservoir OUTSIDE of my grow room and use the cold outside air to cool the water down to 65-75 only problem with that is i cant use the reservoir in the summer becasue it will get too hot outside heating my water temps up again leaving me right back where i was needing a water chiller.......

So then i think ok ill only use an Active hydro system during the cold months keeping the reso outside like i had stated above.. However in the summer months ill just go back to a passive drain to waste system, leaving my reso empty and watering by hand.... ANYONE GOT ANY GOOD ADVICE??

actually water temp remains a few degrees below ambient temp mainly because of evaporation. in flood/drain setup, water temps of 70-75 is ok. DWC is much more sensitive to res temp. in hot summer, a chiller or a/c is good. if you only want a few degrees cooler res, try blowing a breeze over the surface of res an increase surface area to increase evaporation, this will lower temp a few degrees. i eventually chose to do dwc in mild and cold weather and flood/drain in hot weather ust to avoid using a/c

take 1L milk jugs or 1 gal if you have a large res, fllem up with water and freeze them, drop one in your res problem solved just replace as needed.
if your going to have a high res temp your going to need H202 in the res 7ML per gal every 3 days

Zem had a good answer +REP... The Ebb and flow will act like a radiator and allow evaporation to take place while the water cools. A larger res helps too.

thanks for advice......Ok so if my ambient grow temps are 80 degrees you think i can keep my reso temps at 70? thats a 10 degree differance........I was hoping to keep my temps cool enough to avoid using H202..... plus rep for all your advice thanks ......

yes i think you can easily grow in ambient temps of 80 in flood/drain system

res temps= average temps 80 day 60 night = 70 res temps
i use coolers for res the use frozen 2L soda bottles
ive thought of making nutes and frezeing them into icecubes
but i was pritty high when i had that idea

hhhmmmm ... so did you ever try the frozen nutez? or has anyone ever tried this or heard of it? it sounds interesting. Maybe put have the nuts into the bucket bubbler or whatever res you have and dump the other half in as frozen blocks or cubes.
I have found that wrapping my 5 Gal buckets with astro foil keeps the res temps down some degrees... (still looking into just how much, i think my buckets average about 5-10 deg in res temp when wrapped).

I might try freezing some nutes unless someone jumps in and saves me before I make a big mistake.

.. aslo dealing with a res temp average about 79-80 in temp. I have some bubbles hoping to make up for the oxygen problem.

I have some 29% H202 is this the same stuff?
