I use two 135 watt UFO's as well as a 600 watt hortilux hps and a few cfl's. I started my first crop's veg stage with the two UFO's. After they got over the mights, heat stress, transplants they really started blowing up under the led's. I found that they make for excellent veg growth and can...
Check out the explosive tops shooting off these babies just a week and a half into flower. They're loving the high par watt bulb and Co2. Check out my white widow, purple urkle, and trainwreck grow and let me know what you think.:leaf::-P:leaf...
When you transplant them make sure to wet the soil before you put them in. Also make sure your using a good organic soil like fox farm or black gold so the soil doesn't come with pest. It's probably a good idea to pick up some neem oil to spray them with before you put them anywhere new...
Actually you shouldn't be pumping Co2 when the light's are off. Co2 if the other half of what the plant needs to grow. When you turn the lights off the plant won't use co2. You should probably just make sure you've got some circulation in there so the humidity doesn't spike and leave your plants...
63 is too cold for them. Although they might survive in it your probably going to get very limited growth as it only gets colder. I had the same problems because I was only running LED's for a while. I used a little home depot heater to heat it up periodically. It also depends how much space you...
I'd be a little off put by that web site as well. Kinda looks like a powerpoint I made when I was in middle school. I would look up titan controllers. You may have to invest in another timer but you can get one for half the price, and it will probably last a lot longer. Very good brand. The only...
I was sitting on almost a pound of some OG Kush for a good month two months. I kept it in protien shake jugs (good light proof jug) and it only got danker and danker. :) pretty big difference in my opinion
Looks excellent man. Good pics too. I'm growing white widow right now as well. I've got three white widow and a train wreck that had a rough recovery from spider mights and than ended up having to be vegged for almost two months. So my babies are massive now and only in there second week of...
Actually Co2 will help out a lot if you have limited ventilation. co2 replenishment is the idea behind proper ventilation for the most part. I here dry ice isn't the best, if you have a welding or hydro store near you a twenty pund tank would last you a while. keep heat in mind though and how to...
Yes the effects can actually be devistating. If the plants are already in a twelve twelve than they are reacting to the light the same they would be reacting to sunlight in nature, and the sun is always on time. Unfortunantly if you fuck with their photoperiod too much it can confuse and stress...
Co2 is definantly a must. bigger better growth. If your only doing four plants I would guess your growing in a pretty small area. It shouldn't take too much Co2 to keep your room around 1500 ppm (optimal level). What are your dimensions and how air tight is the room?
Absolutely. you're plants are big enough to be topped or pinched now. There's various ways of doing it, but if you sever the new growth at the very top of your plant it will stop growing up and start growing out. I used the FIM technique and it works brilliantly for making pot bush's. Try...
I've had some experience with crap soil, and buying the good shit is so worth it. Black gold being my favorite. I'm gonna guess the neuts aren't helping but it also sounds like you have them under way too much light. Unless you have them screened and place a good distance from that hps that...
I used to veg with 135watt led's and true color cfl's. It worked well for veg but i'm not sure about the flowering. it will depend on the quality of the LED and the amount of blue, red, and white spectrum. The LED's do make it very easy to control heat and I found the plants stay very healthy...
I picked up the new lumatek 1000 watt with something like 1700 par watts. I decided to try it out for my first bulb for flowering. So far i've had some very good growth. Does anybody else use these or know much about them? I'll keep pictures posted in my journal too keep whoever is interested...
Flushing should help for sure. I transition my watering and feeding every other day. I water a little less than most people and remember if ever in doubt on a fertilizer just cut it in half. running just water through them ever other time keeps the salts out pretty well. good luck
